What is PromptForge?
PromptForge is an AI prompt management platform and prompt comparison tool. It lets you save prompts, version every edit, run two versions side by side against real models, and keep a full history of test runs.
What is prompt versioning?
Prompt versioning means every time you edit a prompt, PromptForge saves the previous version with a note. You can roll back, compare intent, and see exactly what changed between versions.
How does the prompt comparison tool work?
Open any prompt, pick two versions from the history, enter a test input, and run both versions. The outputs appear next to each other with response time and token counts so you can decide which version performs better.
Which models are supported?
PromptForge runs prompts through the Lovable AI Gateway, which includes models like Gemini 3.6 Flash, Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite, and Gemini 2.5 Pro. You do not need your own API keys.
Is my data private?
Yes. Every prompt, version, and run is locked to your account with row-level security. There are no public profiles, no sharing, and no way for another user to access your data.
What are the usage limits?
The Free plan includes 3 prompts and 20 test runs per month. Pro includes unlimited prompts and 1,000 runs per month. Team includes 5,000 runs per month.
How do subscriptions and billing work?
Subscriptions are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. You can upgrade, manage payment methods, or cancel from the Settings page. If you cancel, access continues until the end of the current billing period.
